The Kings of Leon like their silver cross jewelry. The ridiculously photogenic band were loaded up with silver jewelry during a recent performance we spotted on Austin City Limits. The three Nashville-bred brothers and their cousin have invented a sophisticated style of Southern Indie Rock. This is the best family band we’ve seen in a long time. Now we have yet another reason to love Nashville.

Silver cross jewelry sighting! “Heroes” actor Thomas Dekker and the cast of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicals“gathered for a little meet and greet earlier this week. Here, Thomas is wearing a matching set of silver cross necklaces with a matte texture. We’re not sure if Thomas has a thing for the wife beater shirt, or if he is trying to emulate the uber-buff Linda Hamilton circa 1984 in the original Terminator movie.

Earlier this week, Sharon Stone was spotted donning a great example of everyday silver cross jewelry at the Lakers vs. Boston Celtics game. We love her casual silver cross necklace. It looks like it is heavily oxidized (blackened) silver. This process usually involves taking the silver piece and heating it up with a torch to oxidize the metal. The end result is that the normally very white sterling silver turns darker, which basically speeds up the tarnishing process. There are other ways to oxidize silver, such as painting Fungicide directly on the silver. Yes, the kind people use on plants. Don’t try this at home, kids.

Sharon has had a thing for cross jewelry lately, and she has been spotted all over with them, particularly the cross necklaces.

The Sammus Theory performed at MTV’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party. Drummer Dan Johnson is loaded down in his usual black and silver jewelry finery. Here, he is wearing a massive silver bead chain necklace, and a second thick chain with a silver cross pendant. This set has that rocker chunky look, we’re guessing it is made by Chrome Hearts.

With no awards show in sight, we had to really dig to find the scoop on the significant silver jewelry sightings out and about.

Singer Ricky Martin performed this Thanksgiving week with Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti

Ricky is wearing at least two, if not three multi-strand bracelets. One is a black silk or leather chord with some small silver amulet of some kind. We are guessing the black piece is probably a necklace that he has wrapped around his wrist several times. In addition, he also is donning a - No surprise here - a silver cross charm dangling from a brown leather chord. We know Ricky is fond of the silver cross jewelry. Whether these are necklaces wrapped or bracelets, we like the mismatched messy casual look of all of these strands all over the place.

Singer Delta Goodrem performed recently live at Federation Square in Australia armed with some serious wristwear.

Here, Delta is wearing three very heavy substantial silver bracelets. One is a silver bangle. One is a braided silver cuff bracelet, and the other looks like a hinged silver cuff. We love it. Pile on those cuffs, Delta!

Natasha Bedingfield celebrated her birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe in London this week. She has on who black rubber and silver bangle bracelets, as well as a chunky silver cuff. Not shown in this photo - her other wrist was also wearing a silver link bracelet.

As usual, Rascal Flatts donned some serious silver necklaces. Both band members Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus here wearing silver cross necklaces. Unfortunately, Gary LeVox’s silver necklace was hidden under his shirt the whole evening.

Gary did, however, have on a huge silver cross ring by Chrome Hearts.

Neyo and his mystery-woman guest were dressed in solid black with big statements of silver. His lady friend sported huge silver earrings and an equally size-impressive silver disc necklace on a silver chain.

Jennifer Nettles of the band Sugarland performed in a stunning silver and black silk chord necklace.

Outstanding designer silver jewelry of the week…

At first we thought this show-stopping silver toned necklace on Camilla Al Fayed was made of Sterling silver, but upon closer inspection, it looks more like white gold and diamonds. Amazing! This is a great example of a bib necklace made to dazzle. (photo: getty images)

Rachel Bilson was a fashion stand-out at the premier for the movie “Awake”.

Rachel looks like she is wearing really huge silver hoop earrings. But in fact, they are double hoop earrings, with one hoop nested concentrically in the other one. This is a beautiful classic look. You cannot go wrong with hoops, in our opinion.

Seventeen magazine recently had their launch party for their new line of jewelry.

Hair genius (and hair stylist to the stars) Theodore Leaf was one of the guests with the most inpirational jewelry looks. Here, he is wearing three silver necklaces. One is a wood and silver cross necklace. The large scale of this cross works well on him. This would look great with our men’s silver cross ring.

We knew we’d find some shocking and/or interesting displays of Silver jewelry at the Latin Grammy Awards.
