Singer Ricky Martin performed this Thanksgiving week with Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti

Ricky is wearing at least two, if not three multi-strand bracelets. One is a black silk or leather chord with some small silver amulet of some kind. We are guessing the black piece is probably a necklace that he has wrapped around his wrist several times. In addition, he also is donning a - No surprise here - a silver cross charm dangling from a brown leather chord. We know Ricky is fond of the silver cross jewelry. Whether these are necklaces wrapped or bracelets, we like the mismatched messy casual look of all of these strands all over the place.

Singer Delta Goodrem performed recently live at Federation Square in Australia armed with some serious wristwear.

Here, Delta is wearing three very heavy substantial silver bracelets. One is a silver bangle. One is a braided silver cuff bracelet, and the other looks like a hinged silver cuff. We love it. Pile on those cuffs, Delta!

Natasha Bedingfield celebrated her birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe in London this week. She has on who black rubber and silver bangle bracelets, as well as a chunky silver cuff. Not shown in this photo - her other wrist was also wearing a silver link bracelet.

As usual, Rascal Flatts donned some serious silver necklaces. Both band members Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus here wearing silver cross necklaces. Unfortunately, Gary LeVox’s silver necklace was hidden under his shirt the whole evening.

Gary did, however, have on a huge silver cross ring by Chrome Hearts.

Neyo and his mystery-woman guest were dressed in solid black with big statements of silver. His lady friend sported huge silver earrings and an equally size-impressive silver disc necklace on a silver chain.

Jennifer Nettles of the band Sugarland performed in a stunning silver and black silk chord necklace.

Outstanding designer silver jewelry of the week…

At first we thought this show-stopping silver toned necklace on Camilla Al Fayed was made of Sterling silver, but upon closer inspection, it looks more like white gold and diamonds. Amazing! This is a great example of a bib necklace made to dazzle. (photo: getty images)

Rachel Bilson was a fashion stand-out at the premier for the movie “Awake”.

Rachel looks like she is wearing really huge silver hoop earrings. But in fact, they are double hoop earrings, with one hoop nested concentrically in the other one. This is a beautiful classic look. You cannot go wrong with hoops, in our opinion.

Seventeen magazine recently had their launch party for their new line of jewelry.

Hair genius (and hair stylist to the stars) Theodore Leaf was one of the guests with the most inpirational jewelry looks. Here, he is wearing three silver necklaces. One is a wood and silver cross necklace. The large scale of this cross works well on him. This would look great with our men’s silver cross ring.

We knew we’d find some shocking and/or interesting displays of Silver jewelry at the Latin Grammy Awards.

He performed on stage at the CMAs with the nauseatingly talented Jamie Foxx and a truckload of awesome silver jewely. Check out this silver cuff bracelet. Gary and his bandmates are always adorned with enough silver jewelry to claim its stake as a 4th bandmember. This almost distracts us from Gary’s unbelievable vocal talent. Almost.

Gary, do we see a silver cross necklace tucked into your shirt?

Joe Don Rooney, their guitarist, has a majorly huge silver cross dangling from a brown beaded necklace. We’re guessing the beads are either Tiger eye or brown quartz.

We have saved the best for last with the CMA Silver fashion jewelry parade…

We’re not sure why CSI’s Gary Dourdan was present at the CMAs this year, but we don’t need a reason. Gary’s Neck itself deserved a CMA. Was it nominated? Here, he is rocking a star of david necklace, AND three silver cross pendants ON THE SAME ball chain. In addition, he wears a cinammon and green long beaded necklace, wrapped around his neck twice. Our assessment is that the beads are made out of green and red aventurine. To top it off, he has an 18″ brown chord and silver bead woven necklace with a very cool turquoise and silver leaf pendant.

My oh my, we are flabergasted by the amount of amazing silver jewelry at the Country Music Awards this year. Silver Cross Necklaces and Pendants were expecially popular. Nearly every man at the event was donning some sort of silver necklace this year. Our favorite pics are below….

“She Ain’t Right“, but Lee sure is. Here Lee is wearing one silver cross pendant on a silver wheat style pendant. Another Silver cross pendant on a silver bead chain. And to top it off, he has some super cool silver swirl necklace on a black leather chord. What is that, a shell or a tiny abstract sculpture? We’ll find out and get back to you. We love it. American Idol’s Bucky Covington has at least two,if not three silver necklaces here. The one on top features an incredibly cool silver circle chain, with two silver rings dangling. Nice.

This backstage photo reveals that in fact, Bucky is wearing another silver necklace. Thin chain and huge silver pendant.

Bucky’s Friend, the always heavily accessorized Trent Tomlinson, also had on loads of jewelry at the CMAs.

Trent is donning a very 3-D puffy heart on a chunky silver cable chain. In addition, he is wearing two chunky silver rings and a thick silver ID bracelet. Somehow he is making all of this work with a military/baseball cap. We are perplexed but we like.

We couldn’t help but notice that two out of the three winners in the top three spots of the NYC marathon wore their lucky necklaces to the competition.

First place finisher Paula Radcliffe (C) of Britian wears a black ring necklace, second place finisher Gete Wami (R) of Ethiopia sports a gold cross on a black leather chord, and Jelena Prokopcuka of Latvia wears simple stud earrings after the New York City Marathon.

Silver Jewelry, as well as gold, is often worn by athletes to give them good luck.
